Diamondback makes some of the very best mountain bikes around. Their Mission line bikes are greater than the sum of their parts--and those parts are all top-of-the-line. Bikes in the series are designed to be light and nimble enough to climb up a steep trail, but rugged enough to fly back down the hill.

The Mission 1 is the entry-level model in this line, but it's more than capable of surviving whatever rigors you throw at it. A weapons-grade aluminum frame boasts a hydroformed top tube, and butted and formed down tube. The fox Float RL 150-millimeter travel fork comes with a handy rebound adjust setting to tailor responsiveness to your ride. When paired with the Fox Float RP23 XV rear shock, and those wicked trail bumps are smoothed out. When the speed gets going, you can still stop on a dime thanks to Hayes Stroker Ryde hydraulic disc brakes with an eight-inch front rotor and seven-inch rear rotor.
